For its 8th exhibition, Tendencia Avenue presents the sculptural and pictorial work of Eduardo Chillida Belzunce from July 8 to September 7.

Eduardo Chillida is one of the most important Spanish artists of the time, born in San Sebastian in 1964, son of sculptor Eduardo Chillida and Pilar Belzunce.

In 1985 Eduardo has a terrible motorcycle accident that makes kept him in a coma for a month and half. Against all medical prognoses, Eduardo gets out of that dark tunnel, restore speech, walking, and finally, with great effort, gets back to normal life. Because of the lopsided paralysis he suffered after the accident he is forced to become left-handed to continue painting.

Years ago, Eduardo Chillida visited our destination, and fell in love with the place and its people, which is why he himself asked to present this exhibition to Los Cabos.

The exhibition will feature 74 pieces including paintings and sculptures, which will be rotated during these two months. Eduardo Chillida‘s work was previously exhibited this year at the Hotel Presidente Intercontinental in Mexico City.

In addition to his exhibition, Eduardo Chillida will offer workshops to local artists, children and youth.
